Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month.

We beleive in the One True God: Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.

In Creation, God wants us. In Jesus Christ, God redeems and restores us. In the Holy Spirit, God abides with us now and forever. 

We believe that the Church belongs to Jesus, and our desire as Fridley UMC is to reach up in praise and adoration, to reach deep to be equipped followers of Jesus, and to reach out to engage our neighbors with compassion and caring.

Fridley UMC is a church centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ both in Word and Sacrament. We strive to develop and maintain caring relationships with regular attendees and new people as well as young and old. We look forward to meeting you!

Our Sunday morning 10:00 AM service is multi-generational offering traditional and feature hymns, a choir and bell choir, and organ accompaniment.  

We welcome all people, and want you to be comfortable! You will find a wide variety of dress, from suits to jeans, and we encourage you to wear what makes you feel comfortable.

Fridley UMC is wheelchair accessible and has no steps at the rear entrance of the building. We also have several special parking spaces reserved for those who need them.

Personal hearing assistance devices are available for anyone who would like to use one. 

If you are visiting with us, please understand that we have no expectation that you will participate in our offering. 

If, however, you would like to give an offering, feel free to drop it in the offering plates during the service or give online.

Communion is open and available to all people. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and on some special occasions throughout the year.

Just as Christ welcomed the little children, we too are happy to have little ones as a part of our church family! Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in the worship service. 

Parking is available in the attached parking lot, as well overflow parking across the street in the Hayes Elementary School parking lot. In addition, there is ample on-street parking available on the East and South side streets that border the church.

Our preaching is Bible-based, and we include the corresponding Scriptures in our bulletin insert as well as project them on the screen. We highly encourage you to bring your own Bible in case you'd like to make some notes. If you do not already own a Bible, please ask us and we would be happy to give you one to keep!

We are conveniently located at 680 Mississippi St. in Fridley just about halfway between Central Ave and University Ave.
