GATHERINGS

55+ folks, join us on for breakfast at Perkins at 7520 University Ave in Fridley, every first Monday at 9:30 AM.  This is just a social time – come, relax and enjoy the company of FUMC friends.  You order what you want, and pay your own bill!   

A Men's Bible Study Group meets every Friday morning at 7:30 AM at Keys Café, (8299 University Ave NE, Spring Lake Park). We eat breakfast at Keys.  We take turns leading that week's lesson, guiding us through a reading of scripture, story and discussion.  We share prayer concerns.  All men are welcome.  For more info. contact Bill Ekstrum. 

A GATHERING FOR GUYS

Grit & Spit meets every Friday at 9:00 AM at Fridley UMC Lounge.  We will be following state and church COVID 19 safety protocols.

PURPOSE

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

MEMBERSHIP

As a United Methodist Woman I pledge:

My prayers, that I may experience growth and renewal in my relationship to God and to my sisters and brothers;

My time, that I may respond to human need through study, action and reflection;

My gifts, through United Methodist Women that I may share in the global ministries of the church.

A group of members and friends of FUMC have formed a Knitting/Crochet Group.  We are helping to supply Prayer Shawls for those who are ill or grieving their loved ones.  During the Fall, Winter and Spring months some of us gather in support of the project. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 1:30 PM in the Lounge.  During the winter months we also knit warm mittens, hats and scarves for our Mitten Tree and also to share with guests at Family Table in January. 

All who are interested in joining us are welcome to attend.
